Overview
Smeltt has launched India’s first Toilet Spray made with natural essential oils. To uplift the washroom experience with their products, Smeltt partnered with Ajackus to develop an online store that allows them to manage and update the website via admin dashboard and give their customers a seamless shopping experience at the frontend.
Problem
Smeltt, with their flagship product-’ Smeltt Toilet spray’, wanted us to construct an online store that would give them full control over the website. We had to design it all thoroughly, from adding content and products to managing inventory, prices, offers, and shipping process via a back-end/dashboard with minimal developer support. The end product needed to be highly functional, easy to navigate, and offer a seamless shopping experience for customers.
Process
There were two focus areas to work on,
Considering the client’s requirements, we chose the Shopify eCommerce platform to initiate the project. It handles both the back-end and the front-end of the website and takes care of domain name, hosting, and security (SSL) certificates.
We aimed to develop an eCommerce platform on which the client has a seamless backend experience without much requirement of tech support in the future. Delivering the same, we developed a versatile and self-sufficient backend system. A flexible admin panel where the client can manage products, orders, shipping, and customers and update/replace content anywhere on the website was constructed. It was also evolved to take care of the marketing aspect, such as email marketing, selling products on Facebook, etc.
Our vision extended to support our client’s branding and goodwill, and thus delivering a smooth user experience to their customers was also on top of our priorities. We developed the site to enable all visitor experiences to be cohesive across all devices - whether they're viewing it on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. The storefront navigates the buyers towards clear paths to browse and buy products online, add reviews, access their customer accounts, and more. Adding many other small details to upgrade the UX made the product high-yielding for our client.
After completing the development, we extensively went through several testing cycles. We made sure that all of the content was being drawn from the database effortlessly and displayed on the frontend aesthetically and error-free.

Results
We successfully developed a secured, responsive, SEO-friendly online store for our client. The site maintains the integrity of the Smeltt brand while highlighting the product line adequately. As a result, Smeltt.com launched with great success.
We are available in 5 cities and also on the world wide web making us reachable to anyone on the planet with an internet connection.
