Problem
Every traveler faces trouble getting visas due to a lack of interpretable information, especially in the countries whose passport strengths are at the bottom of the pyramid. In India, about 20 million people travel every year; they spend time and money processing their visas. The lack of tools and software for repeated travelers is an issue that business travelers often face besides getting transparent communication in the visa application process.
Solution
We built an online platform that hosts the data of 80+ country’s visa application processes from India, 21000 embassy/consulate details, and thousands of traveler’s application data. The solution has a scalable infrastructure through AWS. The data stored was highly confidential; we used a pre-signed URL with secured access to tackle that problem. This incredible amount of data flow of every application processing was becoming difficult for the operations team at Visa Guide. To improve efficiency, we automated the operational workflows within six months.
